THE ROYAL STATE OF THE NETHERLANDS
Through its Royal Embassy in Kenya, The Royal State of Netherlands funds the following programs:
— A Five year Landscape Conservation Program (LCP) to strengthen ACC’s institutional and technical capacities to work with communities living in key biodiversity areas of Kenya— Sustainable Landscape & Livelihood Program

THE LIZ CLAIBORNE ART ORTENBERG FOUNDATION
The Liza Claiborne Art Ortenberg Foundation funds conservation research focused on elephant and lion hotspots/migratory corridors along Kenya-Tanzania border. This research helps reduce human-wildlife conflict.

THE FORD FOUNDATION
Since 1999, the Ford Foundation has facilitated conservation projects in land, wildlife, and livestock throughout the whole of East Africa. They are also funding a 2-year Community Capacity Building Program that will help communities benefit more from ecotourism ventures.

THE EUROPEAN UNION
The EU has funded the project that set up community conservation enterprises and built community capacities
in ecotourism mainly in the Magadi area.

THE JRS BIODIVERSITY FOUNDATION
The JRS Foundation is supporting the development of modeling and bioinformatics tools for ACC programs. The foundation is also supporting ACC’s climate change initiatives.
